Pramiti is a school that provides an environment for children and adults to explore, create, realise and co-exist in harmony. Every individual in Pramiti is unique and has an individual pattern of learning. The adults and the children contribute and create an eco-system that enables learning.

The programmes at Pramiti cover the varied planes of development from 15 months to 18 years. Keeping in mind the needs and developmental stages of each plane, Pramiti offers the following programmes:

The Early Years – “the age of exploration and discovery” 

This programme provides the secondary environment to children who are between the age group of 15 months to 6 years, the primary environment being the home. Very young children learn by exploring and collaborating while interacting in a vertical age group in an environment that is exploratory yet well organised, prepared and safe​. Children in the age group of 4 years to 6 years get exposure to various aspects of life which includes academics, life skills and development of the child’s personality as a whole. Children learn through experiences, observation, exploration and realisation. The learning that happens in the early years manifests gradually as the child enters the primary years.

Primary Years – “the age of imagination and creation” 

The Primary Years programme provides opportunities to children in the age group of 6 years to 11 years to experience different disciplines and to continue developing their personalities and life skills. Keeping in mind the developmental stage, the socio emotional aspects, the academic milestones and the true potential of the child, Pramiti continues to enable learning with the help of a well designed, holistic and dynamic curriculum and environment.

Intermediary Years - “ the age of change and identity”

In the age group of 12 years to 15 years, children continue to consolidate their knowledge of concepts in various areas of learning that builds a strong foundation. Apart from this, focus is on developing the mindset in children to strive and be self motivated at all times. They are introduced to branches in various subjects and this is the time when they further explore and get a clear understanding of what studying each subject in depth entails. Thus, they are better prepared to make choices later on. This period of their lives is very crucial as they also go through many tantalising distractive by-lanes and changes. Pramiti helps them cope with all these changes in a candid and matured way by rendering support and a well balanced approach to rigour and discipline.

Adolescent Community – “the age of leadership and maturity” 

The Adolescent Community is an environment that provides a learning space for children who are in the age group of 15 years to 18 years. Adolescence is that time of life when children are in the crossroads of competition, examination, making career choices and exploring relationships and various choices. Pramiti helps children to deal with these challenges by providing a conducive and compassionate environment and also extends support to the child to continue learning and reaching one’s true potential.

Pramiti is affiliated to Cambridge International and offers IGCSE for the 10th Grade board examination and the A and AS levels for the12th Grade board examination. While a variety of subjects are offered, the choice of subjects is based on laying a strong foundation while providing opportunities that serves as a base for their future careers.

Pramiti is a space where one learns through observation, exploration, experience and understanding. Learning is undefined and a constant movement towards “critical thinking” and “attentive comprehension”.
